SYNOPSIS RESEARCH: 28 DAYS LATER SYNOPSIS: A powerful virus escapes from a British research facility. Transmitted in a drop of blood and devastating within seconds, the virus locks those infected into a permanent state of murderous rage. Within 28 days the country is overwhelmed and a handful of survivors begin their attempts to salvage a future, little realising that the deadly virus is not the only thing that threatens them. THESE RELATES TO OUR OPENING SEQUENCE. Our opening sequence follows the very similar theme of an outbreak of a virus, that is transmitted through becoming bitten. As a result of the virus people soon become zombies. In parallel with 28 days later, the zombies are on a murderous human eating rage, but will soon die out because they will eat themselves to death. we looked very closely at the synopsis and the idea that 28 days later connotes to the audience, however we decided to make our film into a teen horror, and focus on the lives and activities of teenagers to stick to the conventions of out teen horror genre. A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. SYNOPSIS: Freddy Kruger is the substance of nightmares. He always appears strangely dressed and has knives on the fingers of his right hand. A group of four teenagers all begin to have the same strange dreams about Freddy and then one of them is gruesomely murdered in her sleep. The survivors soon realise that if Freddy kills them in their sleep, then they will die in real life too. Thus begins an ordeal of wakefulness as they try to find some way to stop Freddy. HOW THIS RELATES TO OUR SYNOPSIS: even though a Nightmare on Elm street dosnt follow the same synopsis as our film, it still has similarities to our film. A nightmare on elm street follows the conventional teena horror genre, and follows the lives and activities of these teenagers that you see murdered. even though we are only doing the opening 2 minutes of our film, if we had more time, we would have included the daily lives and activities of the teenager effected within our film.

ending of the film, when everyone is dead. and only 3 or 4 survive idea of smoke (so you dont really need to see there faces.)
monster noises
children's nursery rhyme songs
This is the nursery rhyme that we will be using in our opening sequence. we are able to use this as the producer of the nursery rhyme has said that we are able to use it but as long as we credit them in our film.

the opening of our film will start with a chilling children's nursery rhyme, whilst a small child stands in the middle of a dark abandoned street. The nursery rhyme must my chilling yet still portray the image of the innocence of children. We will later go on to chose what nursery rhyme we believe best suits our film and fits best with out opening sequence. PROBLEM? a problem with using music from youtube is that it may be unlicensed meaning we could be done for copy right. However to overcome this problem we have decided to have the child singing the nursery rhyme, then using music tools such as garage band edit the singing to create a chilling erie effect.

TITLE IDEAS inhumane - The End. - The survival - The takeover - The only way is death - Afterlife - Zombie hype - mortality existence - Catastrophe - Walking with the dead - Dead and loving it - Here is a brainstorm of TITLE names which we have come up with. We thought of these names by using the story line of our film, to entwine the plot within the title. Trying to make the title as gripping and interesting as possible, to capture a wide audience.
This picture is a representation of what we may what our zombies in our film to resemble. They have the white eyes, which we have looked closely in having our zombie characters wear. These zombies are able to influence and give us ideas on for the appearance of our zombies.
